7. Muladhara (the Root Chakra)
This is considered as the foundation: the base of the chakras. This keeps your feet firmly on the ground figuratively.
This means you are more in tune with reality thanks to this chakra. Helps with your bravery and determination when faced with something new.
Physical Location: Located near the tailbone at the bottom of your spine
Causes of Imbalance: When your instinct feels threatened and or when you feel as if need to fight to survive. Due to this threat against your basic needs (health, life, food, shelter, money), your chakra will then start to fluctuate.
Effects: Fear of harm and threat could result in paranoia and anxiety. When your chakra is misaligned or blocked, it could affect hypochondria, lower your energy/physical levels, and shivering due to the cold exterior could also affect your physical being weakening you in the process.
These chakras fluctuate and exude different levels of energy. Some of them may be spinning fast on it’s axis and some may have a slow pace. Due to this, you may not have proper balance within your body as the chakras do not coincide with each other.
